Ballot Issue 2B

SHALL THE TOWN OF PARACHUTE’S TAXES BE INCREASED BY $1,000,000.00 IN THE FIRST FULL FISCAL YEAR, BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2019, AND BY SUCH AMOUNTS AS ARE RAISED ANNUALLY THEREAFTER, BY IMPOSING AN EXCISE TAX OF 5% ON THE MARKET RATE OF UNPROCESSED INDUSTRIAL HEMP, WHEN ANY SUCH PRODUCT IS FIRST SOLD OR TRANSFERRED BY A REGISTERED INDUSTRIAL HEMP CULTIVATION OPERATION TO ANY OTHER ENTITY WITH THE RESULTING TAX REVENUES ALLOWED TO BE COLLECTED, RETAINED AND SPENT BY THE TOWN AS A VOTER APPROVED REVENUE CHANGE NOTWITHSTANDING ANY APPLICABLE REVENUE OR EXPENDITURE LIMITATION IMPOSED BY ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION OR ANY OTHER LAW?

Ballot Question 2C

Shall section 2-1 of the Town of Parachute Home Rule Charter and all other Charter and Municipal Code sections referring to the Town\'s governing body as the Board of Trustees be amended to instead refer to the Town\'s governing body as the Town of Parachute Town Council?

Ballot Question 2D

Shall section 1-8 of the Town of Parachute Home Rule Charter be amended to require posting of public notices of Ordinances on the Town of Parachute website rather that publication in a newspaper, as provided in Ordinance No. 750-2018?

Ballot Question 2E

Shall section 1-12 of the Town of Parachute Home Rule Charter be amended to allow for an Emergency Ordinance to be used if necessary for the immidiate preservation of public property, as provided in Ordinance No. 749-2018?
